Yukon Scholarship to CLC Pacific Region Winter School 2025

December 9, 2024

The Yukon Federation of Labour is offering a Scholarship for one student to the CLC Pacific Region Winter School held at Harrison Hot Springs Resort in BC for the Federal Labour Law course, January 26-31, 2025.   This scholarship covers your tuition, accommodation, food and bus transportation from Vancouver to Harrison, BC (value of $2305.00).

This scholarship is only open to affiliate union members or staff. The successful applicant will be required to provide a summary of their learning to the YFL, after the course at an agreed-upon session in 2025. The goal of this scholarship is to increase the knowledge of Yukon workers and activism in the areas of federal labour law.

You must apply before January 1st, 2025 to be considered.

You must be available to attend during the dates above. We recommend checking with your union for any support for union leave to attend education, as you will need to secure your own flights and other related costs to attend. Find out if your union covers loss wages, child care, per diems or union education travel.

Please print and post this poster on any union bulletin boards in your Yukon workplace to share this opportunity.
