Even in 2023, women still face unique challenges when they step into leadership positions. This course will explore women’s history, some of the challenges faced, ideas around leadership, current cultural context, exploring some of the successful role models we now have, and empowering women collectively and individually to rise to the occasion in any realm.
November 25th is recognized as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and marks the beginning of 16 days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence. You are invited to celebrate the leadership of Women (and potential leadership) as part of our labour movement in the Yukon.
