You’re invited to the Partners in Safety BBQ!
- North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) week is an annual celebration that happens the first full week of May
- The aim is to raise awareness about occupational safety, health and the environment in order to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses
- NAOSH week is recognized across Canada and the United States
- This year the free BBQ is at Shipyards Park on May 7 over the noon hour
Yukon Federation of Labour will be at the Outdoor Trade Show! Â
- WSCB is coordinating the celebration with numerous local safety partners to showcase workplace health and safety
- Its about keeping workers safe and taking the opportunity to educate others
