Learn how to navigate formal meetings using what is called “Parliamentary Procedures”. This one day course, will give an overview and practice with the Rules of Order, so you are well prepared for your next convention.

Parliamentary procedure is a set of rules used to help run meetings democratically and efficiently. Most Canadian unions use Bourinot’s Rules of Order. These rules are fair and based on common sense and used at national, regional and local meetings and conventions. They help us move through union business to make good decisions while providing a consistent order of business throughout union activity.  This course is great for any delegates selected for a union convention or just union members looking to activate their local meetings.
